Sweeet Victory

It's a great day to be a Packer fan in Viking terrirtory tonight.

I realize the Packers weren't playing, but there was somethign inside of me that just did NOT want to see Brett Favre take the Vikings to the Super Bowl.

Now, what I realized through the course of the game is that deep down I still love Favre because when he got hurt I felt really bad for him. Nate and I decided that we like him enough to not wish physical pain on him, but are fine with emotional pain.

Which came in the form of an interception.

Just like the Packer's interception 2 years ago in the NFC Championship. I couldn't have written the story better myself. Saints go to the Super Bowl for the 1st time (who can be mad about that) and the Vikings get a true Brett Favre experience.

Hey you have to take the good with the bad. I mean the Vikings KNEW what they were getting when they signed #4....he was just delivering.

Was really hoping for the Jets and Vikings in the superbowl. Farv (actual spelling) is finally playing for a quality team, where when things go bad the fans don't hang the coaches dog.

Despite Favre's shortcomings, it turns out that neither the Vikings nor the Packers are great without him.

What we need are better teams.

It's official--Because of all this unwarranted Favre bashing, our next male child will be named Brett Favre Keaty!! How do you like them apples Auntie G??? The Packers wanted to move on, so Favre moved on to the Vikes and all of silly Wisconsin should therefore move on too and give the man his dues!!
Peace

Who would have ever thought that Brett Favre bashing would finally inspire Nick to comment? Bravo Nick... you're sticking to guns, but seriously it has been more fun to be a Brett Favre 'hater' here in Viking country. Despite everything both sides (Favre and Packers) did poorly this year, it was a great football year, in my opinion, for both teams.
