WOW! I have my husband back!

So this weekend marked the last weekend that Nate had access to his crazy video game, World of Warcraft (affectionately called WOW in our household). This game is seriously ridiculous, and sucked up a large chunk of Nate's time each day.

Now, Nate is always very helpful around the house, cooking and cleaning...and playing WOW. He even had his WOW playing down to a science. On nights that I would come homr from class I would see him sitting at the computer, playing this video game. But magically, by the time I got in the door he would be in the kitchen acting like he was being productive.

So, it was determined that WOW needed to go away for the sake of spring cleaning, for the sake of Nate's GMAT test, and for the sake of us doing fun stuff (i.e. NOT WOW).

People out there may think I am harsh...but REST EASY. Nate assured me that his characters that he has spent 1million hours building and powering up (or whatever other dork phrases you can think of) go into hibernation when you let your subscription lapse. So when Nate gets the green light to sign back up...all of his characters will still be there, at the same level, ready to fight the rest of the world. WHEW! That is a relief.

So I have my husband back, and we were very productive this weekend. Maybe it is knowing that my Dad is coming next weekend and he can help Nate be handy, or maybe...just maybe it is the extra 4 hours a day that were freed up with the release of WOW.
