Spring Fever

It is miserable that as I am typing Spring Fever it is snowing outside and we have a winter storm warning that brings with it 7-11 inches of snow.

But, in the effort to not go crazy in this never-ending winter, it is important to focus on the positive.

For example, it hit 50 degrees yesterday. Yes..a whole whoppin' 50! This is pretty good considering how cold of a March we have had. Nate and I declared it officially spring and broke out the grill, for some delicious steaks.

Nate was concerned the food wouldn't turn out since he didn't have a beer while he was grilling, but shockingly enough, it was delicous. He insists it would have been better if he would have had a beer though.
It was also Lucy's first time outside since last summer. When we sit on the deck to eat or read she will come out and lay on the deck with us. As you can see here, she is very unhappy that we fooled her into thinking it was spring when it is still clearly cold outside. What can I say...she is a princess. She demanded to go back inside immediately....

Oh man this picture of Lucy is priceless. She looks so shanked. She is like, "Please....you call this Spring?" Steaks sound so delicious.

LuLu DOES look shanked, but hey when you are 120 years old, even 80degree weather seems cold.
